Senior Pastor: Rev. John Huff
Rev. John Huff sees himself as primarily serving to bring people to Christ, and that our most important goal should be to love others as we are loved by Christ. He believes in serving the parish through involvements and interaction with the community at all levels.
Pastor John is an ordained elder with the United Methodist Church, mostly recently at Hagerstown UMC. He attended Indiana University & graduated with a bachelor's degree in Religion. John received his master of divinity from Methodist Theological School in Ohio and is also where he met his wife, Jen.
Jen is an ordained deacon within the UMC and has served as an associate pastor in Richmond, Indiana. She enjoys being a clergy spouse and likes to take time when they move to help the family transition and get to know their new church family and community. Jen also looks forward to seeing how God continues to shape her call to ministry as opportunities present themselves.
The Huffs became a "forever" family in 2018 when they adopted their three beautiful children from foster care. Foster care has been an important part of their family ministry since 2014. Arianna (Ari) is 7 and will be entering 3rd grade. Elijah (Eli) is 6, entering 1st grade, and Kenzie is 4, entering kindergarten.
John enjoys exploring the outdoors and sports, definitely an IU fan. Jen likes reading, movies, and trying new foods and restaurants. Their family enjoys camping, playing games, and spending time with their goldendoodle, Punkin.
