God Planned for New Life
Chicks, bunnies and ducks are signs of new life in the spring
We will be talking about how Jesus gave us “New Life”
Book Fair $$ due on April 12
SPRING BREAK: MARCH 29 THRU APRIL 5. RETURN TO SCHOOL APRIL 8.
APRIL SPECIAL UNITS: Spring, farm, aquarium and zoo animals
FARM AND OUTDOOR PLAY: We will talk about farm animals, ride big wheels, blow bubbles and paint sidewalks with water
SPRING DRESS CODE: Dress your child for outdoor play. The playground wants us to come back
PET VISITS: April is a good month for pet visits, anything from hamsters to horses. PARENTS MUST ACCOMPANY PETS! CONTACT YOUR CHILD'S TEACHER TO SET UP PET VISIT
FAMILY TEA: STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE DIPLOMAS ON MAY 10. CEREMONY WILL BE HELD DURING CLASS TIME. INVITATIONS WILL BE SENT AT A LATER DATE.
CARNIVAL: May 15, our last day of school and Carnival Day. (Kids and teachers only, no helpers needed)
FALL REGISTRATION: To register your child for the 2024-2025 school year, the fee will be $55.00. If your child is returning, their papers are on record if you need to make any changes. Registration fees are due to hold a space for fall. MONTHLY FEES WILL BE $85.00.
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION: Scholarship applications are due by September 1. If you are currently on a scholarship, you will need to reapply.
Weather and Snow Closings: When Smith-Green has a 2 hour delay, we will have a 1-hour delay to keep from canceling the morning classes. Our announcements will also be on REMIND AND FACEBOOK. Nursery School one hour morning delays do not affect afternoon classes.
